| If you are a current student at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, and you are interested in becoming a member of the Wesleyan Innocence Project, please send an email to wip@law.txwes.edu. You may also access a membership application on our TWEN website. All applications for membership should be submitted to the Innocence Project folder in the student lounge. Criteria - Membership to the Wesleyan Innocence Project is open to all students of the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
- Membership is determined at the start of each semester through a sign-up (application) process.
- Members are recognized pursuant to a $10 donation to the Innocence Project or a guaranteed commitment of at least 10 hours volunteer work with the Innocence Project per semester.
Benefits - Practical experience of conducting investigations into claims of actual innocence.
- Guest speakers will instruct members on the details of investigative work, and lecturers will help to inform the student body about a number of issues related to innocence in prisons.
- Opportunity to seek out externships in relation to the Wesleyan Innocence Project.
- Members may receive pro bono credit for their work with our organization.
