P.L.A.Y. (Presenting Legal Activities to Youth)
P.L.A.Y. is a student run public interest group that began at Texas Wesleyan in the fall of 2008. P.L.A.Y. aims to expose youth, specifically those in socioecomonic groups that are underrepresented in the legal community, to opportunities available in the legal profession.

P.L.A.Y. also develops and implements programs that seek to educate all young people on the tools and resources necessary to apply to law school and become successful legal advocates. This is accomplished by a variety of programs using law-related education to provide practical information and problem-solving opportunities that assist students in developing the knowledge and skills necessary for survival in our law-saturated society.

Currently P.L.A.Y. has developed partnerships with the following organizations/entities:

• Lena Pope Home
• Boys & Girls Club
• Girls, Inc.
• North Texas Area Teen Courts
• Fort Worth ISD
• Dallas ISD-Townview Magnet Center for Law Professions
• UT Arlington's Upward Bound program

We look forward to continuing P.L.A.Y.'s mission to serve as a liaison between Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex by setting up new community partnerships while maintaining our existing relationships. We look forward to working with you on achieving these goals and helping our youth.
