Hands-On Experience

Outside of the classroom, you will find many opportunities to gain practical experience by applying lessons learned in the classroom. Texas Wesleyan is one of only 39 ABA-accredited law schools to require students to complete 30 hours of legal-related pro bono work through its Equal Justice Program. in addition, law school and reality come face-to-face in the law clinic where students deal with ethical issues involving real people. In the law clinic, students work on a range of issues from family law and children's issues to Social Security and SSI disability.
